POD00001 2: as you can see, I'm wearing the shirt. It happened. I lost to DYL Pickle. But I was I was kinda s I I think I was the most scared when I lost that game because I was so defeated because I put everything into game one. So you didn't notice that I was changing my mouthpiece like every three p every three points? Ready? This one. All right. What up, what up, what up, pickleheads. welcome back to 44x20. Sam Orlansky: Where's a shirt on the next recording that says either I lost to mouthpiece Sam or I lost to Dill Pickle?
POD00001 2: All right, guys, you heard it there. It's true. I lost to Dylan. but here's the thing. I'm proud of how I played on Monday, and I'm also kind of pissed. for those of you who've tuned in already, it's a it's on YouTube. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it. It's been up there since Monday. so I'm openly talking about it. One of the things you saw is that I had an 8-3 lead in game one. When it was eight three U? No, when it was eight three U. Yeah. in the first game. All right. And I had him nine to six in game two. I was literally two points away from him wearing the shirt and me celebrating. but then game three came and you heard the scattering report. Take a listen.
Sam Orlansky: You gotta you gotta make Sam think on the pickable court I think that's how you beat him. And one strength would be his fast hands, but I would say his I

TOTEM CAM 3 01: I would say his one I would say. I would say his one weakness is his legs.
TOTEM CAM 1 01: I would say his one I would say. I would say his one weakness is his legs.
Sam Orlansky: would say his I would say sorry. I would say his one weakness is his legs. So you gotta make him run. Why are you saying why you're laughing so hard? I'm sorry, dude. But why are you? I just want to know why you're laughing so hard. Because true. Because you're because you're an unk, man. You gotta make the unks move.
TOTEM CAM 2 01: So like you gotta make him run. Why why say so hard? I'm sorry, dude. I just want to know why so hard. Because you're because you're an unk man, you gotta make the unks move.
TOTEM CAM 3 01: So like you gotta make him run. Why why say so hard? I'm sorry, dude. I just want to know why so hard. Because you're because you're an unk man, you gotta make the unks move.
TOTEM CAM 1 01: So like you gotta make him run. Why why say so hard? I'm sorry, dude. I just want to know why so hard. Because you're because you're an unk man, you gotta make the unks move.
POD00001 2: Yeah, and you heard it. My legs were gone. And that's the part that bothers me because I already know it's my weakness. I'm working on it. And sometimes the hardest part of learning to compete is having to learn the same damn lesson over and over again. Dylan is born to compete. I'm learning to compete. So let's break down what happened. 44X20. Dink Lob Bang. All right folks, here he is. Welcome back to the studio, Dylan. Celebrate it baby. Let's go baby. I would expect a lot more energy after a big win, Mr. Bourne to compete. Sam, thank you so much for having me on again. You don't need to thank me, you belong, baby. All right, Dylan. Before we get into it, let me stand up. Can you see me on the screen? yeah. All right. So let's show the shirt. All right. What do you see? I lost to dyl Pickle in singles. All right. Well, I'm letting the shirt tell the story. So on the right sleeve over here I have 1996. I don't know if you remember. That was the score that I yelled out when everything fell apart. I think I said, nineteen ninety-six, that was a good year. I was really confused when you said that to me on the court. 1996 was a badass year. I was 16 years old already. that was even better than being 50. Over here on the left sleeve, I have 1979. I think right after 9-6 side out, I yelled, 1979, the year I was born, bitch. And then right on the inside sleeve, I have 1989, 1999. It says 10-9, and then it says 119. And then let's see, over here I have a 46. that's for my age. And then over here I have several 27s to remind the listeners that you're only 27, I'm 46. And then I have a couple extra 27s in there for Adam27. Shout out Adam27. Shout out Adam who couldn't be here today. And then I have a couple, it says I got lost to Dill Pickle in parentheses in singles. And then I have a couple podcast monikers. I think it says I've got no fanboy. Nobody home. Nobody home. Learning to compete. Born to compete is somewhere. And then one in four versus Dylan in doubles. Wait, wait, hold on. This is the best part. I I'm a little early for this one. here. I think I'm gonna go to a different camera. no, you can see me from here. Hold on. By the way, Dylan's looking for a mixed partner. Hey everybody. It's on the back of Sam's shirt. And it's true. I still am looking for a mixed doubles partner. I think if we keep this shit up, I'm gonna be your mixed partner. Alright, Dylan. At Dylan.von22, if you guys want to send me a message directly. That's awesome. I did not know that you had that on the back of your shirt. I know that's that's so rad. Hopefully we'll find you a badass mix partner from this show if we get anything, you know? Hey, well, actually, I played with somebody today at Barnes Open Play and she was a 5-0. shit. All right, all right. Top prospect, baby. Let's get into it before we get off of it. Yeah, yeah, right. So in the first match, you had me at 8-3. Did you think you had me? 100%. Yeah, I definitely thought I had you. I thought you were starting to gas out a little bit. I'll I'll be honest with you. I was a little bit nervous at 3-0. Really? Yeah, man, you hit like three passing shots on me just to start the game. I was feeling really good to start the game. And then it just kind of plummeted. So what what changed? I think I just was trying to be too fine. Like I was trying to hit these glorious passing shots, and I was missing. Do you think that's what changed? Or I think you changed your strategy and you started hitting passing shots to me. All right. So this is a good time to leave a comment. For those of you who tuned in and watched the match, what did you see in game one when basically I started coming back from three days? And I started getting really frustrated. well, I'll tell you what I saw. 'Cause I mean I saw all that stuff, but You saw me throw my paddle. Well, that was really the only point in the match where I was able to sort of change the composition of the game. because I I wasn't doing a very good job on my returns pegging you in the corners. You were sort of loading up and hitting everything by me. But what I started doing, I I think I did a couple soft serves. I think I bounced the ball a couple times. Cause the points were going pretty fast. They were. And you, your little short spinny serve, it got me on one of the points. Yeah, I fucking aced you, bitch. Who's wearing the shirt, bitch? yeah, I mean that was the I think that was the most success I had at changing the composition of the game is I used some like kind of lofty lob sort of serves and some sort of spin serves. You lobbed me a couple of times. And there was there was one time where I was on the opposite side where you lobbed me and it was it like a couple of clean winners from you. I was like, Yeah, yeah. And I the big thing for me is I was trying not to overdo it on the lobs because I know I just didn't want to get lobsessed. Especially with the wind that was we experienced, right? Yeah, there was a lot of wind. Okay, so Which made it harder. W what else did you see that changed when I started coming back? well, you had a lot of trickeration added to your game. Like you hit like a lot of those inside out forehands that made me go into my backhand. And I don't know if you could tell, but I was really pushing my forehand. Yeah, well I was really pushing my forehand. And when I when I hit a backhand, all I would do was drop it. What do you mean you were pushing it? you were trying to like I was trying to hit forehands. Yeah, well the thing that really okay, so there's two things that really, really surprised me that I wasn't expecting when we squared up. One of them is we did this sort of whole like mock pushing and shoving thing for Instagram. And I hadn't really stood up next to you before. You're tall. Six foot. Yeah, you were way tall You were way taller than I expected you to be. You were way taller than me. For all the ladies listening in, I'm six foot. Hold on. I'm actually six foot. Let me write six foot here. 'Cause like some people like will lie and say that they're not their actual height, but I'm actually six foot. That's right. Me too. so I noticed that you were tall. And then the other thing that really surprised me, I I I told the listeners that you hit that left-handed ATP on me against 10, and I knew you had it in your bag, but I didn't know you had it in your bag. Like You hit a lot of left-handed forehands. When we were playing skinny singles, that's when it really started to show. Well, I didn't realize that you use that shot like as a regular shot. Like and also typically like people who use that shot, they're not four-five. They're usually the two five. thanks, man. Right. usually by the time someone's gotten to four or five, they've developed a backhand and they're not wanting to hit that shot. Yeah. And you have a backhand too, not well, in in my estimation, the reason why I use that was because when I had my elbow surgery, I could only drill with my left hand. And so like I was going out to Barnes Tennis Center and drilling with my mom with my left hand only for like four or five months. Well, we talked about this a lot already. we talked about it on Born to Compete. There's no hiding it. You move differently. And and everybody is different, right? Yeah. But you move differently than everybody. and one of the things that really kinda screwed me up with you and I said it out loud. A lot of times with people, you can watch their form and get a guess on whether they're gonna hit left or right. I couldn't tell because I I couldn't watch your hips, man. Because I'm always moving. And it would just yeah, it's just another example of how you've turned everything about you into a superpower. Thanks, man. I appreciate that. Well, not I'm gonna get my mean sounds out here real quickly. Hold on. That one was for me. All right, before we get into game two, anything that we want to rehash from game one? Because there's something big I want to rehash. well, besides me throwing my paddle at the end of the game, because I was really frustrated because I thought I because I thought I had him in game one. But it turns out that Sam has a lot more resilience. Turns out that Sam has a lot more resilience than I know, and he is pretty quick on his feet. Now that I know. I was stoked to get the first game. especially in that fashion. And going into the second game. I I think we had a little bit of social warfare, not on purpose. 100%. But I was I was kinda s I I think I was the most scared when I lost that game because I was so defeated because I put everything into game one. I I was so scared because I saw how mad you were. There's I don't know what it is if if it's like the empath in me. But like I wanted to come and give you a hug afterwards. And I think this is one of my weaknesses. I I I I the compassion in me saw how mad you were. And now that I'm friends with you, like I just wanted to be like Dylan, we're recording. Yeah. I mean, I was just very like when I get into singles mode, I'm in singles mode. I wanted you to wear that shirt. I did not want to wear that shirt. So I was and I was getting into it. And guess what? right now, I don't give a fuck that I'm wearing the shirt. But I I was locked in like for that whole entire singles match. like being competitive and being born to compete, like I was so locked in on that game that like even though you were like saying like nineteen seventy nine, like all this other stuff, like I was still That was in game three. Yeah, but I was zoned in. Like I didn't even hear you. Like whenever you would talk to me, like midpoint I wouldn't hear you. So you didn't notice that I was changing my mouthpiece like every three p every three points? I did once or twice, but th there were a couple of times where I didn't know. I was like, I'm ready. Yeah, I was carrying two mouthpieces. That's what I thought. I knew you only I knew you brought two of my gosh. Wait, which one's your favorite one to wear? I don't think I've ever asked you that. That's a good question. I've had this one the longest, but I'm getting into the shock doctor brand mouthpiece, which fits my mouth better. right now, I really like the teeth. Also the shock doctor, that's the same type of underwear you wore when when me and Hubert. It was actually the the cup, the cup. Yeah, the jockshirt. Yeah, that was that. I like that one, but I also like these ones because these are the flavored ones. this is the the bazooka joe bubblegum flavored one. I didn't know they had flavored mouthpieces. yeah. Talk to my friend Daniel Pye. I got him sweet and sour. it was a warhead one. Whoa. Yeah, he's wearing it. So I got one fan. That's awesome. Let me let me give him a cheer. Mouthpiece Mafia. Shout out, my guy, Daniel Pye. That's awesome. I I never even knew that. And I I think it's super cool that work different mouthpieces. You're gonna earn yours. I'm just waiting for your time. Sweet. Yeah. Can't wait. We have to play a tournament together. That's the key. We gotta do it now so I can get my mouth. No, you gotta wait. You gotta find I don't ask people to play tournaments. I only get asked. Okay. Stupid. Game two. I'm feeling it, right? Yeah. I took a commanding lead on you, and another thing that I heard from you is I heard a lot of like negative self-talk, Dale. I was in my head. What was going through your mind when I went up six two? I was just strictly in my head. I was like, man, Why am I getting beat by Sam? I'm just like I'm just like, dude, he's an ug and he's running me around the court. So let me ask you. I'm like, I I've played singles before in North versus South and it rent went really well. So I was like, okay, like what's going wrong here? And what can I do? Don't forget, I'm a borderline singles player now. I know. Borderline. You showed me. Yeah. He showed me that you can play singles now. I would like to have another chance at it. in a less windy environment, maybe one of my home courts. Yeah, because Barnes was super windy that day. Yeah, I felt like all my returns were just falling short. You know, like falling short. Like you were loading up with no hips into every single one. Yeah. But also there was a lot of like especially when I was on I think it was the south side. And you can like you barely like hit it and it'll go like So I think we got to six two, six three, we switched sides and like I I'm gonna tell you right now, I thought I had you. I had you taking breaks. I had you I had my I took I executed my whole game plan on you. I had you saying fuck, I had you saying shit, I was in your head. The only thing that I didn't do, in my opinion, was Cut your throat. Put the nail in the coffin. Stomp, stomp you out. So I want to talk about that in a second. But let's what was going through your mind at 6'2? what was going through your mind at I think six six? Did we get to six? Six six. Yeah. I was like, at six six, I was like, I have a shot. And then I w I wanted to take it one game at a time. You know, that's the biggest thing. And then I had you seven, six, eight, six. You hit an outball and eight, six, and then I had you nine six. And then I'm gonna play the clip.
IMG 5756: was president.
POD00001 2: shit. And and those were really my last points in the game. Cause it went nineteen ninety-six and then what? Side out, SO. And then it went nineteen seventy-nine. Yep. Nineteen eighty-nine. That one's for my guy Clyde. I won't tell some of the listeners why. It's not appropriate. Then it went nineteen ninety-nine. 10-9. And then apologies to the listeners and the watchers. At 10-9, you hit the last stroke. And as that winning shot is going over the net, that's when our camera cut out. So no, I just wrote, Dylan wins. That shot went over. That was a really bad thing to have happened. The camera cutting out. We're working on it. I think I'm gonna get a new iPhone soon. You should. Yeah, I know. Now that I'm an ambassador. The viewers will pay for your new phone. Yeah. I insert Patreon account here. So I mean, for me, we don't have it on recording, but that was when I went to my corner. Yeah. And I I said a little thing to the listeners. God damn, I'm tired. I didn't hear it. I know. So this is news to me. God damn, I'm tired. I can't believe it what just happened. I gotta get my energy going for game three. And we'll just recap it real quickly. Game three, tell everybody what happened. Game three, I got off to a very hot start. I went one two three four I got one. Yeah, and then you got one. I got one I got one somewhere in there. I think it was four one. And then I just went five one six one seven one eight one nine one. What was that like for you? Eleven one. What was that like for you? Honestly, I think it was just the anger in me from you. I think it was just honestly, I think it was game one when you beat me and I was just like, I really need to just put the knife in and twist it. I need to finish Sam off right here. Cause I didn't know if I was gonna get another chance to finish you off. Do you think it's possible that like that didn't go through my mind? I don't know what was going through your mind. What was going through your mind at five one, six one, seven one? Like when we had switched sides at six one, what were you thinking? I'm fucked. You you were just gassed? I was like, I should have finished him last game. that's really what I was thinking. I I lost my opportunity. it was just between it was right there and I let it slip away. And honestly, it's a it's a it's a feeling that What What the fuck? We already know the chefs in the baseline still. Dude, I think I just had a heart attack. No way. What up doesn't it? So Chefs in the house What up, chef? We're my average Jews gymnasium shirt. Shout out Nick Robin. Yeah. And Dylan is White Goodman. my gosh. We will rock you. Try it again. One more time. What up, what up, what up? What up, pickleheads? I'm Peter LeFleur. I'm here to avenge my cousin. So we were just finishing up. Dill and I were going over what happened. Obviously you know what happened. What do you think of the shirt? the shirt? I lost a dill pickle. How long do you have to wear that for? Just the rest of the episode. Wait, I gotta I got some stuff for you guys. I'd say for the rest of the week. Yeah, he's gotta wear that. I'm trying to drag out the episode as much as I can. I got nineteen ninety six on my arm. That was the score when I let up the lead. I thought that was the year he was born. No, that's nineteen seventy-nine over on my left arm. is that your year? Nineteen ninety-nine. I don't show okay. I I don't know if he has it on there. Look, I have twenty-seven twenty-seven. I'll give you a shout-out because we're out of twenty. I have a couple extra twenty-sevens for you, but that's Dylan's age, forty-six for my age. And then I have learning to compete, no fanboy, eleven to one in the third game. and then read the back Looking for a mixed partner? that's hilarious. I thought it would be a ball mark from the body bag episode. this is Dylan's property. Alright, so let's get to it. Yes, Dylan, this was planned. Adam is here for a reason. Forty four X twenty is all about bringing people together. Forty four X twenty is all about community. And nowadays forty four X twenty is all about challenges. Go ahead, Adam. Well, I never wanted to challenge Dylan because he's the one guy a fanboy over, but now I have to defend my cousin's honor. Dude, when you walked in wearing those shades, I was already scared of you, but now I'm really scared of you. Don't send an older cousin to do a younger cousin's job. Hey, Sam couldn't do it, so somebody's gotta. Yeah. All right. Forty four X20 is all about challenges these days. If you have a challenge for us, leave it in the comments. Go ahead, Adam. Wait, wait, also wait. Back up a little bit. Wait, hold on. I have a question. How did Adam get in the studio? Because of the door. Alright, Dylan. I'm here to ask you one thing and one thing only All right, Adam, let's hear it. I challenge you to a game of singles to defend my cousin Sam's honor. But I'll let you decide where does this game take place? Any place, anytime, anywhere. You tell me. And also what are the terms? Are you gonna end up with a shirt like mine? Yeah, whatever you want. Well, you already know where we're gonna play. Barnes. Barnes Tennis Center, baby. I'm on a neutral territory, maybe like Bernardo Heights. One of the parks. Walking into the lion's den, dude. Whatever. Kobe played best on away games. About to drop 82. You're definitely gonna be the away crowd. I feel that. You're so funny. Sam will cheer for me. Should we live stream it this time? Yeah. Then we have to okay. If this was a doubles game, I would say I'm down, but it now that it's singles, I'm I'm kinda shitting my pants. So you wanna do best of five? Dude, I was dying after three games. What's the matter? Are you scared? No, no, I'm not scared. What should we play for? I kind of want to play for if I win, then me and Dylan like play together in a 3-5 doubles tourney. Dude, I would let you win. And just smoke everyone. Wait, can we please do that? I'm actually so down. I would lose just for that. You're playing in a 3-5 tourney. well, I'm playing in 3-5 to 4.0. okay, whatever. Same, same. Adam, I would want nothing more than to play in a doubles tournament with
Sam Orlansky: Come on, Dale. What are the terms? What do you want to play for? Put your money where your mouth is. I'll be your doubles partner you've been looking for. No, I want something in mirror. I'll wear a wigs. mix. I'll wear a wig and then we'll enter a mix tournament. No, be serious. Be serious. Be serious. I think I think if I win you have to do a PPA tournament with me. Yeah, sure. That'd be cool. No, but I want someone to wear a shirt on the pod. No, that's just for you, bro. I think someone should have to something silly if they lose. No, but like I've been wanting to play with Adams for a minute. Whoever loses has to wear the Borat Leotard to the next podcast. The Borat Speedo. Yeah, you can order it on Amazon. The Speedo? Yeah, you have to wear a Speedo. What does that look like? Born to compete. Learning to compete. The Borat? That's learning to compete. Adam will do it. Look how he's dressed already. Yeah, I'll do it. Look at Dylan. His face is bright red. You kinda took all the words out of my mouth, I'm not gonna lie. Right when we said Borad Speedo he walked in. That tracks. What are you doing here? my god. Everybody. I saw your cousin coming up. Mervyn Quintana in the house. Woo! What are you wearing? I'm a race car driver. my god. From from Italy. Happy Halloween, pickleheads. Do these cameras work? This is what we're playing for. Hey. my god. We gotta wear that one. Put it in the camera. Dylan, you're gonna wear that! So you're saying I'm gonna lose? Whose side are you on? Whose side are you on? Whose side do you think I'm on? If Dylan loses, I gotta wear this on the five. Whose side do you think I'm on? And if I w if I lose then I'm definitely wearing it. If I win, I'm gonna win. Hold on. Turn off this shitty EDM. No, this is this is Merv's walk-up music. Wait, Merv's Merv, your first walk-up song was insane. Why'd you change it? This this is totally. He had a different one that he shared with Jimmy, and we decided that he needed his own. You wouldn't want to share a walk-up. Yeah. Dylan's gonna like that music in his bright neon green Leotard Speedo. Alright, so did you guys figure out your terms? We're wearing whoever loses is wearing a speedo live on the podcast. Dylan agreed. Dude, you look like a water polo kid from Point Low. Okay, you only have to wear Adam will wear it the whole time, but you only have to wear it for one segment. Okay, sweet. I'll wear it if I win or We just want to see you show up on the pod. I'll wear it if I win or lose. Adam wants to just Adam wants to wear it on his own terms. Merv. Did you hear what happened with in the singles battle with me and me and Dylan? I did, yeah. I was I was I was by the ping pong table. I was eating your snack And I I heard the door shut and I was like no way what is that? Merv Merv never left he lives here now. Wait, can you believe I got a game off of him? Kinda surprising, honestly. How much how much did you pay? Sam always starts out strong. It's cause hey Merv, it's cause I folded in the first game, dude. Yeah, the only game that I would imagine him beating folded in the Yeah, you know, fresh blood. Yeah. It is true. I mean it's You you said it. You said my biggest weakness is my legs. Yeah. And you Your biggest weakness is your legs. That that is that is true. I thought it was his mouth. That's what I thought. And his mouth is number two. So the mouth I can deal with. The legs is a much longer learning to compete type of journey. All right. So speaking of learning to compete, Merv's here for a reason. We have a special announcement that him and I want to make. Let me get a sound going. Should I propose to you right now? I am already married. He's pregnant. Will you be my doubles partner? I already said it. Anyways, guys, I know we already said it on this episode, but the listen looking for a mixed double sports. Sam Sam, you know what to do? Put my music on, Sam. The listeners are getting tired. Are you in pickleball? If you are in pickleball love, you know where to go. All right. So it is true the North and the South are coming together for a big cash money prize down at the Olympic Training Center this Saturday, one o'clock. Now, if you're tuning in now, the tournament will already have happened. So we will be posting on Instagram the results. I say if if we win, we might need to do an emergency podcast. On the spot. On the spot. We'll see. But I'm real I'm real excited to play with Merv because our plan is just to bring so much chaos to the court. I don't know if it's gonna help us win. But what what division do you guys play? We are playing wait, so I played I played four and a half plus recently up in SoCal Pickleball. Most of the time I play 4.0. I've been playing 4.0 for about a year. And most of the medals are elusive. I've got a lot of second, thirds, fourths, fourths. But what happened to me when I went up to Temecula is my duper went down. It went down from 4.0 to 3.74. And what that does is it makes me eligible to play with all my friends. So 3.5s. Here we fucking come, baby. That's right. I would feel so bad for all the three fives that have to play you two. Well, don't forget, don't forget, you still gotta make the shots, right? They're gonna be coming in hard if they're 3.5s, right? they could still hit us. The mistakes can still be made. So also the since money's involved, there's gonna be a lot of sandbaggers for sure. You know what I mean? How much? And am I one of them? A lot of them are non-rated too. Do you think I am? Yes. Of course. Say why. You're not a 3.5. You are not a 3.5. It's 3.5 to 4.0. 3.5 inches, though. Yeah, though, he for sure. That I can verify. Keep it clean. Alright, Adam. So let me play some walk-up music for you. fuck Welcome Music, Welcome Music Music is lame. This is the no fanboy pong podcast. I'm ready for So Adam, you've been my partner in life and on the court. What kind of advice do you have for Mervin about partnering with me? Keep it positive. Positivity wins. Just embellish Sam, stroke his ego a little bit. Like he likes to hear like all the positive stuff. And yeah, just like embell wa if he's talking to you like in learning from experience, just embellish him a little bit and listen and he wants to feel heard. Okay. Zero zero start. Yeah. Zero zero start. That is true. I do zero zero positivity. I do need a lot of reassurance. That's true. Yeah, for sure. Even if it's fake. No, no. Never that. No, it's okay. We we've we've played before. We went like on a huge roll. Remember? We killed. Just be like, Sam, you look jacked today. Your muscles are huge. Your calves look like tin men. You're s you're so athletic, you're all I mean, I'd just say it'd be like that Ernie looked so athletic. If he hits an Ernie, like make sure to tell him it looked athletic. Yeah, that's gonna be so weird, especially because like I talk so much crap about him. Mm-hmm? Like a like a month ago when we were feuding. yeah. And then now we're here, you know. Wait, wait, so is Merv gonna get a mouthpiece from Sam? Yeah. I I I want I want a used one. Mr. Lun. Well, here you go. Wait, that's your favorite one, Sam? That's the one that you use all the time. I'll give you my favorite one too. When you're ready. I still need to earn my mouthpiece. I still need to play with you in a tournament, and then I get mine. All right. Speaking of which, now seems now seems a great time to do it. Merv. yes, I'm very excited. Welcome to the mouthpiece, mafia. I thought he was gonna get down on one knee. That's what I thought too. Or both. Take a look at Alright guys. Nice. That's actually. Should I do a test fit or what? What is it? Wait, let me see. Merv's got a pretty big mouth. Do you get an XL? Wow Actually, I'm a size medium. You're a size medium. Extra extra medium. You guys want to get me a shirt? Extra extra medium. Wow, thank you, Sam. it has wow, okay. it's got the vibrating tools in it? Nice. Vibrating tools. It's super nice that that that I bought this. Why is there a bunch of crosses on it? Yeah. Merv's a believer. nice. Because Jesus is the reason for the season. Do you have Jewish stars on yours? Alright, let me just say real quick that Thank you, Sam. Jesus did die for my sins, but he also died for my spins. Okay. He gave me God gave me a good b backhand slice. Well if if he died for your spins, I I don't know, I might be in trouble. All right, before we check out, I wanna turn it over to I I'd mentioned it a couple times in commercial. We he now have an active voicemail box and we've had our first couple call ins. Are you guys ready to listen to some voicemail? Yeah, let's do it. Who are the what are the names? there's a whole bunch of people in here. You ready? Yep. Sam just wanted to give you some advice since this is your first time playing with Merv in a tournament. What? One, first off, have a plan to conserve Merv's energy for semifinals in the final. That's my problem too. Second, have a game plan before going into the tournament on knowing w what your roles will be and what your game plan is. Targeting the other opponents. Third, don't be surprised for the paddle paddle switch and me too. I'm bringing three fun and have a good time. Me too. Wish you guys the best and this weekend and go get By the it's Dylan's birthday today. Sam so you're losing everyone we know? But you'll at least you're still trying to get better. Keep leveling up so you can partner with me. Alright? When I get back, we'll beat some three point fives together. So Kenny's coming back from MCL. Hopefully, Love you, Kenny. Not yours. Break a leg, hopefully not yours. Favorite op. I just wanted to tell you guys good luck. For this weekend. And maybe, a couple pieces of advice. Number one, win rallies. You know, I think that's super important. Number two, get the ball over the net. That's also super important. number three, put your puttaways away. And number four, lean into your fucking trash talk. I want to hear a bunch of nobody's home, a bunch of good luck. and really just do your best to make your opponents crash out by talking as Much shit as possible. It might make me crush out. Absolutely. That could take me on my game. I'm really excited to see how you guys do this weekend. You guys are gonna crush it later. That was awesome. you gotta go for the nasty on the first one. That surprised me. That would be wild. Jimmy calling in from voicemail. I think that was one of the coolest phone calls I've ever heard. That was rad. Tyson McBuffin. He is my biggest op now. To all the folks who called in, thank you so much. We really appreciate it. for all the listeners listening, send us some more, send us some more voicemails. We'll play them online. Talk some shit. Give us some advice. Let one of us have it. Let us know how many body bags I should give Dylan in the body bag room. That's not a question. That room's reserved for mouse. Dude, why can't you play for body bags? That'd be so much more interesting. Body bags in the Borat outfit? At least a couple. Not in the Borat outfit. No. Alright, so there it is, pickleheads. We started tonight wearing the shirt because Dylan beat me. That's right. Dyl pickle beat me. That's right. And I learned something, right? I can compete. Now I need to learn how to sustain it. And I don't have to wait very long for another chance. yeah. Because somehow mouthpiece Sam and Swervin Mervyn are partners this weekend. The war is over. And the best way to get over a tough loss, Dylan, do you know what that is? What is it, Sam? Go play more pickleball. Exactly. Because you can never get enough pickleball. And don't forget, cousin Adams got some unfinished business to do too, right? Yes, sir. See you on the courts. 44x20. This weekend we get another shot. No bubblegum award, right, Mervyn? Nope. All right. Dylan, since we started with you, I think I'm gonna let you take us out. You know what to do. All right, guys. So from from Dylan to Sam to Adam to Mervin, we are out! 44X20, where the game meets life. Follow us on Instagram at 40. And subscribe on your Patreon. I was Adam coming? I was so fired up. And I told Sam, I'm and I don't think you guys know this yet, but I was like, dude, my dying wish would be to be on a pod. with Adam and Bourbon. We're still on record. So dying wish. Don't don't die. Well not dying wishes. My dying wishes for Adam to beat your ass. That's not a wish. That's luck.
